WER Joell Tennis Stadium

Formerly known as the Government Tennis Stadium, the facility was renamed in 2003 in honor of William ER Joell, who fought for the rights of blacks to play at the facility.  The WER Joell Tennis Stadium (open every day except public holidays) boast five (5) hard courts, three (3) clay courts and a practice court. Three hard courts are lit, which enables patrons to play tennis well into the night.  Residents and visitors are welcomed to play tennis at the facility where Rackets can be rented and balls purchased for play.
